Founded by Maxwelle deHoll, Forge & Timber Construction Consulting was born from a passion for helping clients make smarter construction decisions. With over 15 years of experience as a licensed general contractor in Asheville and the surrounding areas, Max has led award-winning projects, including Parade of Homes builds. He is deeply involved in the local construction community, currently sitting as chairman of the Helene Rebuilding Leadership Group. Building on his industry expertise, Max also co-founded Modern Mountain Builders, an award-winning construction company renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovative projects, which he continues to own and operate.
Max’s extensive knowledge of the region’s unique local zoning regulations and building challenges—steep terrain, drainage, and more—makes Timber & Forge the go-to consulting firm for residential projects in Western North Carolina.
